One of my YouTube videos just broke 100,000 views! The video is about grilling steaks on a Traeger grill. Trager's are a great/smoker grill combo that's fueled by wood pellets. Anyway, a friend asked me how I got that many views. I wish I could say it was because I'm such a handsome guy with great camera presence. But that's probably a stretch. What I can accurately say is that I did some keyword research before I produced the video. With the help of Long Tail Pro, I discovered that "grilling steaks on a Traeger" was a reasonably competitive and popular topic I could rank a video for. Being a steak lover didn't hurt either.
