Unfortunately, returning back to regular employment and a normal life after a deployment isn't as easy as it sounds. Quite often highly specialized military skills are overlooked on a resume because they aren't properly filtered into their current civilian equivalent. The bottom line is that too many qualified applicants with military experience don't even get an interview because of a lack of keywords. GigSeer is going to change that.
GigSeer was founded by Iraq and Afghanistan war Army veteran Captain Christopher Swatty after an astonishingly difficult transition from reserve duty back into his civilian career. After his experience, Chris decided to develop a solution to assist other transitioning military service members.
Gigseer is fundraising to go to the next level. It takes approximately $300 to navigate one veteran through our program and on to a new career. When we meet our goal of $60,000 we will be able to take 200 former service members and reservists through the GigSeer process until they are successfully placed.
